CONTINENTAL LOVERS (UK)

Looking the like ”the illegitimate sons of Johnny Thunders” (Vive Le Rock,) Continental Lovers are your favourite glam punk reprobates. Equal parts Stiv Bators, Ramones, Joan Jett, Cheap Trick and the aforementioned Thunders and his Dolls, the band have built a reputation on the back of their energetic and captivating live shows, not to mention their ”tight n exciting” blasts of guitar rock n roll.

Vocalist/guitarist Joe Maddox (The Breakdowns, DeRellas) writes every song with the intention of it being a hit single. In an ideal world, they’d be Number 1 with a bullet, and with a busy 2024 ahead with more releases planned, perhaps ‘The Lovers’ will ascend to the top of the glam punk pile. Joe is joined by Ben Webster on lead guitar, Keri Sinn on bass guitar and Ace Carlton (Tyla, Dogs D’Amour, The Spangles) on drums.

FUZZKILLS are an action-rock’n’roll band from Helsinki, with an upcoming debut EP just around the corner, and whose gigs are guaranteed to make you break sweat. The amps blow sparks and the downpicking hand screams for mercy as a snakeskin boot descends upon a fuzz-pedal with a shattering force. This ain’t art.
