The La’s stands as a guiding light in 1990\u2019s Britpop, despite the premature end to the band’s story. Due to the relentless pursuit of perfection by the band’s mythical frontman Lee Mavers, the debut album was re-recorded countless times until the record label released it without the band’s consent. Despite Mavers’ opposition, The La’s (1990) has since ascended to classic status.<\/div>\n
