Ruotsalainen powertrio Liar Thief Bandit ensimmäistä kertaa Suomessa!
Voimatrio Liar Thief Bandit on syntynyt soittamaan livemusiikkia ainoana tarkoituksenaan kantaa soihtua kaiken sen puolesta, mikä on ollut, on ja tulee aina olemaan rock’n’rollia puhtaimmillaan. Raa’an ja vastaansanomattoman energiansa, melodisen ytimensä ja piristävien sanoitustensa ansiosta yhtye on edelleen yksi aikamme kiinnostavimmista ilmiöistä.
Liar Thief Bandit on aidossa tee-se-itse-hengessä heittänyt yli 200 keikkaa: Yhtye on tehnyt 12 Euroopan kiertuetta ja esiintynyt muun muassa The Bronxin, Supersuckersin, Hank von Hellin, Electric Sixin sekä Valiant Thorrin lämmittelijänä. Uusimpiin ja suurimpiin saavutuksiin kuuluvat viime vuoden lämmittelijän pesti Royal Republicin Ruotsin-kiertueella sekä esiintyminen vuoden 2023 Sweden Rock Festivalissa. Ahkera bändi on toisin sanoen varteenotettava tekijä.
Elinvoimainen ruotsalaistrio on julkaissut kolme täysimittaista albumia. Viimeisin ”Diamonds”-pienoisalbumi ilmestyi 16. syyskuuta 2022. Yhtye palaa studioon tulevan syksyn aikana levyttämään neljättä täysimittaista albumiaan, joka ilmestyy ensi vuoden kuluessa. Liar Thief Banditin vaikutteet löytyvät 1970-luvun klassisesta rockista, 1990-luvun garage-rockin paluun ja inspiroivien nykyilmiöiden risteyksessä, jossa livedynamiikka on aina intensiivistä ja ärjyvät melodiat keskiössä.

This Swedish life force has released three full-length albums and the latest mini-album called “Diamonds” was released on September 16th, 2022. The band enters the studio once again in the fall of 2023 to record their 4th full-length album set to be released in 2024.

They have 12 European tours under their belt as well as support shows for The Bronx, Supersuckers, Hank von Hell, Electric Six, Valiant Thorr among others. A support tour in Sweden with Royal Republic (Live Nation) in 2022 and a slot at Sweden Rock Festival 2023 counts as their latest and biggest achievements. It’s safe to say this hard-working band is to be reckoned with.
