\nQuaquaquaqua is a progressive rock and metal band from Helsinki, Finland, founded in 2024. The band consists of Niko Flang (drums, vocals), Anna Podorolskaya (bass), Tom Prinsen (guitar, vocals) and Jukka Romu (guitar). Their debut EP Scars Under the Skin was released to streaming services in early 2025 and consists of four emotionally raw and powerful songs. The EP was recorded at the legendary Astia studio and produced by Anssi Kippo and Shereign vocalist Sara Str\u00f6mmer!<\/div>\n

Danakil Heat<\/strong>
\nDanakil Heat is a groovy stoner band from Helsinki formed in 2022. The band lineup consists of Shaun (vocals), Timm (guitar, backing vocals), Olli (bass) and Joonas (drums). The members are from across the globe: Singapore, Germany and Finland. The band is influenced by a variety of genres, such as garage rock, psychedelic, groove metal, hardcore and punk.<\/div>\n

With their new EP \u2018Life on the Green Planet\u2019, they are ready to start tearing up the local scene. The EP will be released on all major streaming platforms with an accompanying music video for the song \u201cBack to the Fire\u201d. The band has played some gigs around the Helsinki area and are looking forward to playing more shows in the future.<\/div>\n

\nThe songs get their lyrical influences from cosmic themes, dystopian futures and everyday life struggles. Although these seem like heavy topics, we don\u2019t take things too seriously.<\/div>\n

Formed in the vibrant music scene of Helsinki, Finland in 2018, Headphone Jacks crafts a powerful fusion of 90’s Alternative rock with heavy-hitting elements of classic rock, kraut rock and prog. The four-piece outfit consists of Jaakko Anttonen’s bass and vocals, J-P Herlevi’s guitar, and the brotherly duo of Aleksi and Riku-Pekka Lappalainen on drums and guitar respectively.<\/div>\n
Headphone Jacks released their debut album “Discipline” through Inverse Records 11-April-2025.<\/div>\n
