CONTINENTAL LOVERS (UK)<\/strong><\/p>\n Looking the like “the illegitimate sons of Johnny Thunders” (Vive Le Rock,) Continental Lovers are your favourite glam punk reprobates. Equal parts Stiv Bators, Ramones, Joan Jett, Cheap Trick and the aforementioned Thunders and his Dolls, the band have built a reputation on the back of their energetic and captivating live shows, not to mention their “tight n exciting” blasts of guitar rock n roll.<\/p>\n Vocalist\/guitarist Joe Maddox (The Breakdowns, DeRellas) writes every song with the intention of it being a hit single. In an ideal world, they\u2019d be Number 1 with a bullet, and with a busy 2024 ahead with more releases planned, perhaps \u2018The Lovers\u2019 will ascend to the top of the glam punk pile.
